74 Dead in Poland After Cold Snap

WARSAW, Poland (AP) -- Two more victims of a cold snap in Poland were found Thursday, raising the death toll from weather to at least 74. Police said a 40-year-old man was found frozen to death in central Poland and another man was found in northern Poland, near Gdansk. Temperatures since Nov. 16 have dipped as low as 4 below zero in a wave of frigid weather that has chilled much of Europe.

Cold-related deaths also have been reported in Rumania, France, Bulgaria, Italy and Croatia.
